The wines available in Pennsylvania may sound unfamiliar at first. Names like Marachel Foch, Baco Noir, Leon Millot, and Chambourcin are used to identify the types of grapes we grow in Pennsylvania. These are called vitis lambrusca, or French Hybrids. Typically, these grapes are known to have the flavors of their European heritage, blended with the "candied," or "wild strawberry" flavors and aromas that are common of the grapes most found in our region. Don't worry, though, our winery is known for its variety of wine and we offer a range of flavors to suit any palate. We make more known varietals, such as Merlot, Cabernet, and Pinot Grigio, as well as a variety of fruit wines and carbonated Spumantes for those who like it sweet.
