Spring Brook Ranch is one of the premier Tibetan Yak breeders in North America. We produce a full range of phenotypes; national champion show stock, fiber producers, pack stock and meat stock. We have won more national level ribbons than any other breeder. Our bloodlines are found in almost every herd of merit in the country. We concentrate on easy to handle animals with friendly and tractable personalites... We are on the outskirts of Kalispell and surrounded by subdivisions. However, to the south are the Salish Mountains and some pretty wild country. We are a sanctuary for wildlife in an increasingly urban area and work closely with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks on wildlife management. To prevent overpopulation of whitetails we are part of a youth hunter program for beginning hunters looking for their first deer and provide venison to local food banks.
