Dr. Alexander Feldman

Dr. Alexander Feldman has over 30 years of experience practicing Neurology both in Europe and the USA. He completed his internship at Presbyterian Saint Luke's Hospital here in Denver and then did his Neurology residency and fellowship training in neurophysiology at the University of Colorado. Dr. Feldman is board certified by the American Academy of Neurology and Psychiatry and he is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Feldman is an attending physician at the Rose Medical Center, Presbyterian Saint Luke's Medical Center and Spaulding Rehabilitation Center. He is the director of the Uptown Brain Injury and Pain Management Center (concussion clinic). In addition, Dr. Feldman had been participating in multiple clinical research trials related to headache management, Alzheimer's disease, peripheral neuropathy, etc. His professional interests lie in treating patients with balance disorders, neuropathic pain, memory loss, movement and autonomic nervous system disorders. He has over 15 years experience utilizing Botox in his practice. Dr. Feldman has been performing complicated electrodiagnostic studies for vascular and orthopedic surgeons. In his free time he enjoys skiing, fishing, hunting mushrooms, playing tennis and traveling.

Dr. Jared Yarnell

Dr. Jared Yarnell was born and raised in Denver Colorado. His father is an 83 year old neurologist still practicing to this day and Jared is happy to follow in his footsteps. He went to college at Montana State University and medical school at Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine. He then did residency and fellowship in Brooklyn New York at SUNY downstate, covering hospitals such as the university hospital of Brooklyn, the VA of Brooklyn, Kings County (second largest hospital in New York City). He performed his fellowship in neurophysiology where he concentrated on neuromuscular illness and pathology. Dr. Yarnell is currently a general neurologist and he loves it. He likes the challenges of diagnosing various neurological conditions and helping his patients achieve a better or longer life or both. Dr. Yarnell believes every chief complaint has a neurological component and explanation to it and works vigorously

Kaitlin Kraus

Kaitlin Kraus practiced as a critical care nurse her entire nursing career prior to continuing her education and becoming a family practice nurse practitioner. She did her undergraduate at the University of Iowa receiving her BSN and then completed her master's degree at Chamberlian University. She decided to go back to school to be a provider as she wished to be a part of her community, to help treat patients' complaints, work them up, diagnose them, and be able to treat them to the best of her ability.

Svetlana Belykh

Svetlana is a licensed professional counselor, National Certified Counselor, and psychotherapist. Svetlana holds two masters degrees: a Master of Arts in Counseling (Diploma with Honors) from Regis University in Denver, CO and a Master of Science in Applied Math and Computer Science (Diploma with Honors) from the National University of Radio Electronics in Kharkov, Ukraine. Svetlana joined the clinic six years ago. She is part of the multi-modality approach to the patient's treatment with traumatic brain injury, especially complicated with post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression. Her treatment arsenal includes several integrative therapy strategies such as: Individual-Behavioral therapy, Humanistic/Existential and Cognitive Behavioral treatment sessions, Cognitive Restructuring, Solution-Focused, Narrative, Psycho-educational modalities and approaches, Desensitization, Breathing and Progressive Relaxation Techniques, and Guided Imageries.

Torsten C. Jess

A Master's of Science Degree graduate in Speech-Language Pathology since 1997, Torsten (Taustin) has worked in a variety of venues ranging from the hospital setting for the acute patient to group homes for the developmentally disabled. Torsten has been the director of speech therapy services in the past in various rehabilitation settings before starting his own practice named Brain Function Optimization, LLC and before signing on with Dr. Alexander Feldman at Neurology Colorado which is an honor. Torsten focuses primarily on the evaluation and treatment of individuals who have memory, problem solving, attention and speed of processing deficits.
