Dan Rothstein began his guitar studies at age 7, and was performing professionally at age 13. He continued studying both jazz and classical guitar while obtaining a bachelor's degree in music and pre-medical science from Columbia University. Dan studied classical guitar with Helen Wade and Jonathan Trotta, and jazz guitar with teachers including Ted Makler and John Scofield. He has performed throughout the eastern United States from Nashville to New England and for many years was based in New York City before moving to his current home in upstate New York with his wife and three children.
