Green is smart. The present multiple crisis (economic, climate, energy) requires change but also provides new opportunities for innovative solutions. The drivers for sustainability take turns in importance: climate concerns, commodity policies, reduction of the vulnerability regarding unstable world regions, cost reduction, terrorist threats and stimulation of local economic activity... There are still many barriers to be overcome before society will balance the present with the future in all its activities. It is of paramount importance to reach that state of sustainability as soon as possible. It also is an enormous opportunity.
