Christopher J. Pickens

A native of Toccoa, Ga, Dr. Pickens joined Northwest Georgia Medical Clinic in 2000. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Emphasis in Genetics) from the University of Georgia in 1991. Dr. Pickens received his medical doctorate from Mercer University School of Medicine in 1995. Internship and Residency in OB/GYN were completed at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. Dr. Pickens is a second generation physician, following his father's example in the practice of OB/GYN. He has special interest in infertility and has maintained his Board Certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists since 2001. He is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN (ACOG) and maintains membership in the Medical Association of Georgia and the American Medical Association (AMA). Dr. Pickens resides in Rome with his wife, Allison, and their three children.

Dr. Victoria Custer

Dr. Victoria Custer received her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia; a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia; and an Associate of Arts from Oxford College of Emory University in Oxford, Georgia. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Creighton University School of Medicine Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona, where she served as education chief during her residency. Dr. Custer is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American College of Physicians. Her clinical interests include gynecologic surgery, pregnancy complications, sexual health and treating women throughout their lifespan. with special interests in both menopause and adolescent gynecology. In her free time, Dr. Custer enjoys reading, hiking and meal prepping​.

Emma W. Cordle

Mrs. Cordle earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Jacksonville State University in 2003. She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has prior experience in adult intensive care and neonatal intensive care. She is the former Director of the Student Health Center at Berry College. Emma is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American College Health Association, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and Golden Key Honor Society. She and her husband, Matt, have one daughter, Ansley.

James H. Vick III

Dr. Vick received his bachelor's degree from North Georgia College and State University, Dahlonega, and his medical degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon. He completed his medical residency at Greenville (S.C.) Memorial Hospital where he was chief resident in obstetrics and gynecology. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He and his wife, Dina, have two children, Lex and Alea.

James T. Douglas

Dr. Douglas is a graduate of Cherokee High School in Canton. He earned his bachelor's degree from Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his medical residency at Floyd Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency Program in Rome, Georgia, and obstetrical fellowship through Floyd Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. He practices a full scope of family medicine including newborns, pediatrics, as well as male and female adults. He has practiced at Northwest Georgia Medical Clinic since 1995. He and his wife, Laurie, have three children, Samuel, James and William.

Kristen Leezer

A Board Certified OB/GYN, Dr. Leezer earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia before pursuing her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia, where she was inducted into the honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in 2011. While Dr. Leezer enjoys caring for women at all stages of life, her special interests include adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, obstetrics and reproductive medicine. She has presented to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine on the relationship between fertility and exercise. She and her husband, Brendan, have two children, Tristan and Tessa. She enjoys jogging, hiking, and gardening in her spare time.

Lisa W. Blake

Dr. Blake earned her Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis on genetics from Kennesaw State University . She received her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon. Her medical residency and internship was completed at Mercer University through The Medical Center of Central Georgia, in Macon. She is a board certified fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology at Northwest Georgia Medical Clinic since 2006. Dr. Blake was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and moved to Georgia in 1982. She has one son, Lawson.

Stephanie Sisson

Stepanie, a graduate of Pepperell High School, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Shorter University. She graduated from South University with a Master of Science degree in Nursing. Stephanie is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, accredited through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, as well as a current member of AANP. Stephanie's previous work experience includes working as an RN in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Floyd Medical Center and as a pediatric home health nurse. In addition, Stephanie has nurse practitioner experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She and her husband, Corbin, have a son, JD, and a daughter, JessAnn.

W. Keith Montgomery

Dr. Montgomery is a graduate of Tucker High School in Tucker, Ga. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia in Athens. He attended the Vanderbilt Medical School in Nashville, Tenn., and he earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his medical residency at Charlotte (N.C.) Memorial Hospital and Medical Center. He and his wife, Sandy, have three children, Megan, Cameron and Molly. He is a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is a member of the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. He has practiced medicine at Northwest Georgia Medical Clinic since 1989.
