NEFARIOUS HORDE STREET BAND

Comprised of some of the most talented musicians in Northern Nevada, the Nefarious Horde Street Band is a professional 9-piece "big brass" band from Reno. The group assimilates the composition and personality of the popular street bands seen all over Europe and South America, as well as the streets of America in locations like New York, Chicago, and New Orleans. The group takes the form of a "small big band" as instrumentation includes an alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, three trumpets, two trombones, electric bass/tuba, and trap set/percussion. They play new and old funk, jazz fusion and traditional jazz favorites. Their brass-heavy horn sound compares them to the likes of Tower of Power, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Chicago. Their enthusiastic, upbeat sound is a popular choice for concert performances everywhere.
