CUMBERLAND CHURCH OF CHRIST

Because of our love for Jesus Christ and what he has done for us, we want to share that love by caring for others. The greatest show of care we can express is our desire for the salvation of others... It's tough to be a young person and have to make new friends. Our Christian parents can help them make that transition and instill Christian guidance, good judgment, and godly morals, into their personal development. Pre-teen and teenage years are formative years. Our young people enjoy fellowship that allows them to grow in the Spirit of the Lord... Jesus, the Son of God, is a missionary. In his own words he stated, "...for the Son of Man has come to seek and save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). After his resurrection and before his ascension to enthronement, he commissioned his apostles to make disciples of all the nations, immersing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He then said, "...teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:18-19)...
