Aaron Bradley is a data specialist who supports B&D's higher education as well as energy & sustainability practices as a project analyst in Costa Mesa, California.
Prior to joining B&D, Aaron graduated from the University of Arizona, with his Bachelor's and Master's in Statistics and Data Sciences. During that time, Aaron was given the experience to learn the workings of Brailsford & Dunlavey as an intern, where he supported clients, observed and kept minutes for client meetings, and presented key findings of various data analyses. Aaron also assisted in the instruction of a preliminary math course while being a graduate student, where he administered undergraduate teaching assistants, taught lectures, and held group office hours for college freshmen.
Biography
Amanda joined the Brailsford & Dunlavey team in January 2020. She serves as a passionate and enthusiastic project manager in the Northern California office specializing in the planning and implementation of community college projects expertly managing the design of approximately $40 million annually. Most recently, she has served as a trusted advisor to San Jose Evergreen Community College District on their Measure X Bond Program. Amanda has an excellent reputation for resolving problems and promoting strong client and consultant relationships. Her leadership skills are reflected in the special interest she takes in staff development, engagement, and morale.
Amanda brings to the firm years of experience in project management and customer service as well as a wealth of organizational skills. Previously, she was a Program Manager for an environmental graphic design firm, responsible for managing dynamic projects from conceptual design through implementation with market experience in education, municipalities, corporations, and healthcare.

Mrs. Brown is a project manager in B&D's Washington, D.C. office, where she utilizes skills in design and project management to facilitate the research and analysis of planning and implementation projects. Currently, Mrs. Brown is engaged in the Baltimore City Public Schools' 21 st Century School Buildings Program. A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, she initially joined B&D as a project intern in 2012, working on the $4 billion D.C. Public Schools Stabilization & Modernization project. Seeking to gain a better understanding of the natural and built environment and the impact that they have on communities, Mrs. Brown began pursuing a Master's degree from Cornell University in Landscape Architecture with an emphasis on community planning and urban design. She conducted extensive research on the 2011 earthquake in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and how it affected the economic, social, environmental, and cultural sense of place, which has become her masters thesis. Prior to joining B&D full time, Mrs. Brown worked as a freelance graphic designer.

Amirah is an assistant project manager supporting the implementation of KMV's DCHA program in B&D's Washington DC office. Prior to joining B&D, Amirah previously worked as an Assistant Project Manager in a construction firm, specializing in tenant fit-out construction projects in the DC area. Prior to this, she worked for an architecture firm on projects for San Francisco International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Additionally, she worked for an engineering company focusing on tenant fit-outs for biotech companies in the Bay Area.

Mr. Chaveas is a senior project manager in B&D's Washington DC office, providing implementation support to projects nationally. In this role, he draws on his experience as a licensed architect and construction manager to develop a project vision and establish a framework for project success. Andrew enjoys working collaboratively with all project stakeholders, and excels at navigating the complications and risks that occur throughout the planning, design, and construction of major capital projects.

Mr. Cheung is an accounting manager for CENTERS and Brailsford & Dunlavey after more than seven years of public accounting experience as a financial statement auditor. Previously, he managed and performed financial audits over numerous organizations around the Washington, D.
Dr. Lisa Beth (LB) Bergene is an associate at B&D, providing both planning and strategic services to higher education clients.
Prior to joining B&D, LB served as senior associate dean for Residential Life at Duke University for 18 years, providing direction and operational management on the first year residential campus. Her portfolio included leading the residential staff, supporting facilities and housekeeping operations, serving as client representative for new build and renovation projects, and developing and implementing community development models. Additionally, LB taught two service-learning courses on the topic of civic engagement in Focus, a signature academic program. After her time at Duke, LB served as a business strategist and commercial project manager for a small business in the Raleigh area, helping to build out the commercial division for the company. In this role, she sought and won federal, state, and municipal contracts and advised on operational processes to improve efficiency and compliance. Her extensive experience working directly with students and campus spaces as well as her strategic planning efforts for the business allow her to assist her clients with formulating the best possible solutions.
Originally from Wisconsin, LB holds a doctorate in education from North Carolina State University and has expertise in grief, trauma, and mental health. She earned her graduate degree from Penn State in Counselor Education and a BA in History of Philosophy from Marquette University.
Biography
Ms. Cobb joined B&D with 20 years of professional experience providing administrative support to high-level executives and their teams. She has been widely recognized for exemplary organizational skills, as well as for enhancing firms' value and meeting the needs of internal and external clientele. Her career has included work at the American Council on Education, Black Entertainment Television, UniDev, and other premier organizations. In each position, she has continually applied her coordination and planning expertise, in addition to proficient writing, editing, and grammar skills.

Bolu Adeniran is a communications and public engagement coordinator with Sphere KMV in Baltimore. She assists in client communication through social media, website management, collateral material design, photo/video documentation and public event planning. Before joining B&D, Bolu held various internship positions in multimedia production and event curation.
Mr. Noyes joined Brailsford & Dunlavey shortly after its founding and currently oversees B&D's higher education practice group. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Noyes has served as a thought leader for the firm, including leadership within B&D's P3 advisory practice at the client, industry and legislative levels. He has led teams serving more than 250 higher education clients and has collaborated with owners on the planning and implementation of over 1 million square feet of P3 development across the country. As a nationally recognized industry leader, he has lectured and written extensively on consensus building, financing structures, programming, design, and construction of revenue-generating projects. Mr. Noyes' professional training is in both the architectural and real estate developmental fields, having performed market and financial analyses, architectural programming, design management, and construction management for over $2 billion of development. His expertise focuses on the integration of architectural training with project planning and real estate development. Prior to joining B&D, Mr. Noyes worked as an architect for HOK.

Mr. Kollar is a director in B&D's Washington, D.C. office. Before joining the firm, he received a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Miami. His many leadership roles and achievements led to his tapping into the Iron Arrow Honor Society - the highest honor attained at the University of Miami. After graduating, he continued working for the University in the Housing and Residential Life Office before interning for an architecture firm in Coral Gables, Florida.
Brian Stevens serves as Brailsford & Dunlavey's Systems Architect, overseeing the firm's technical infrastructure. With over seven years of experience at B&D and a solid background in Information Technology, Brian plays a key role in shaping the technical direction of the firm.

Brittney Bennett started at B&D in 2018 as an administrative assistant and took on the role of communications & public engagement specialist in 2023. Ms. Bennett provides communication and engagement support for several large implementation programs in the East and West Coasts. She assists in the development of internal and external communication, brand development and application, engagement strategies, and major public event planning. She has led the planning, development, and management of several client-based bond measure and facilities-related websites which has, in turn, increased program awareness and participation.
Ms. Bennett's diverse educational background positions her as a unique communicator and strong process planner. She holds a bachelor's degree in Chinese and a certificate in French Language and Literature from the University of Maryland; a certificate in Intensive Chinese Studies from the Beijing Language and Culture University, where she also taught English; and a Master of Professional Studies in Applied Intelligence with a focus in Counterterrorism from Georgetown University.

Ms. Acker is a senior project manager in B&D's Washington, DC office. She has previously served as a project manager in support of Baltimore City Public Schools' 21 st Century School Buildings Program. In this capacity, she is managing the client's responsibilities through design oversight, procurement, construction management, and project close-out. Her core competencies include pre-construction services such as design management, scheduling, project controls, procurement, and public approvals, as well as project management, scheduling, and claims management-all to ensure each project's successful implementation.
Charlotte Roed is a senior associate focusing on the large-scale modernization of Washington, D.C.'s public schools. Charlotte has ten years of planning and design experience, with six working with public K-12 institutions. Prior to B&D, Charlotte worked at Fairfax County Public Schools and D.C. Public Schools within their respective Facilities' Planning and Design teams. Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Urban & Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Arts in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
Cheri Chastain brings over 17 years' experience in sustainability and climate leadership to the B&D team. Cheri has demonstrated leadership in the food & beverages industry, higher education, community development, and local government. Focusing on carbon neutrality and climate resilience, Cheri has successfully implemented programs in renewable energy generation, water conservation, alternative transportation adoption, and zero waste while leading policy, governmental and industry-wide efforts.
Just prior to B&D, Ms. Chastain served in leadership roles in real estate development where she developed and implemented strategies and action plans to ensure climate-positive community development and represented the company in public facing affairs. In addition, Ms. Chastain served as the Chair of the City of Chico Climate Action Commission, is a current board member for the non-profit bicycling advocacy organization Chico Velo, and was a founding board member of both TRUE Zero Waste and the Glass Recycling Foundation.
Mr. Roach joined Brailsford & Dunlavey in 2007, and currently serves as executive director in the firm's higher education practice group. In this capacity, he collaborates with institutional leaders to articulate the outcomes, attributes, and capacities required to achieve their organization's targeted new reality, and then guides the prioritization of physical and operational initiatives according to their potential impact-ensuring long-term institutional viability in alignment with their permanent ideals.

Dr. Andrea Becker is an associate who provides planning and strategic services to colleges and universities. With a strong background in student affairs and specific focal areas in university housing operations, residential life programs, student leadership development, experiential learning, co-curricular experiences, and academic partnerships, Dr. Becker offers a unique blend of expertise to institutions seeking to enhance their student experience and overall strategic positioning.
Prior to joining B&D, Andrea held a career in university housing and residence life programs across a variety of institutional contexts while serving in roles from Resident Advisor to Director of Residential Initiatives. Her deep understanding of residential communities and the dynamics of student life within them has enabled her to craft innovative solutions for housing related challenges and enhance the living-learning experiences for students. Her work in building academic partnerships, developing co-curricular experiences, and augmenting experiential learning demonstrates the importance of collaborative approaches to develop a supportive and connected student experience.
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in Educational Studies, a Master of Science from Florida State University in Higher Education, and a Doctor of Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University with a dissertation focused on Shared Governance. Dr. Becker specializes in helping institutions create vibrant, inclusive, and student-focused communities that support student success.
Ellery Ammons is a senior associate in B&D's Washington, D.C. office, where she provides planning and strategic services to colleges and universities. With joint backgrounds in urban planning and management consulting, her collective experience has fostered a passion for adopting a people first approach to insightfully transforming places and organizational processes. She enjoys collectively leveraging both areas of expertise to creatively solve ambiguous problems while meeting clients' strategic objectives.
Prior to joining Brailsford and Dunlavey, she worked as a strategy and management consultant with senior leaders in the military. In this role, she designed strategic planning frameworks, introduced performance management tools (e.g., KPIs, OKRs), and served as a project manager for various strategic initiatives.
She has also worked with the Planning & Development Department of a Business Improvement District (BID) where she managed the Design Review Board and a variety of economic incentives, while also spearheading community engagement in multiple comprehensive planning efforts.

Since leaving CSU, Mr. Bond has served as a consultant for a variety of institutions of higher education.

Ms. Buckholz is currently a senior associate at Brailsford & Dunlavey, where she develops climate and sustainability action plans for higher education institutions. Prior to consulting, Ms. Buckholz was the Director of Sustainability at California State University, East Bay. As the first sustainability officer for the campus, she was solely responsible for integrating the concepts of sustainability into all aspects of campus, from academics to engagement, throughout the curriculum, operations, and campus plans and within administrative policies. Before coming to East Bay, Ms. Buckholz worked at the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) where she connected with subject matter experts to support the development of the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS), a transparent, self-reporting framework for colleges and universities to measure their sustainability performance. Ms. Buckholz started her career as the first sustainability officer in the California State University System at Chico State, where she led the synthesis of cross-campus sustainability efforts into a cohesive, award-winning program.

Mr. Carneglia is a project manager in B&D's Washington, DC office, and is currently focusing on implementing several projects on behalf of the University of Delaware. He also has experience working in the federal government as a geotechnical technician for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Ryan Aylmer is a senior analyst in the Washington DC office. Prior to joining B&D, he worked in management consulting where he informed strategic initiatives in a wide array of industries ranging from Private Equity to Higher Education. Ryan brings a lens of strategic management and quantitative skills to the Venues team at B&D, where he completes most of his work.
Sophia Aitken supports B&D's Higher Education practice as an associate in Austin, TX. Sophia graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a Master of Science in Community & Regional Planning. In 2021, her team won the ULI Hines Student Competition.
Prior to joining B&D, Sophia was an associate with a landscape architecture and urban design studio in Miami, FL where she led business development, as well as managed several public space projects addressing the area's climate resilience concerns.
