TERA Global Change is a not-for-profit research foundation founded in 2004 by Dr Jillian Gregg and operating continuously under her management in Corvallis Oregon USA. TERA was initially founded to conduct research in plant ecophysiology and global change. More recently, TERA has augmented its team and emphasis areas to offer consultative research and development services for global collaborators and private clients...
In-House Research programs at TERA since 2004 have been initially funded by the US Department of Energy, Office of Science and housed at the Environmental Protection Agency's Western Ecology Division in Corvallis, OR for more than a decade. We have been using the EPA's terracosm facility - a set of 12 sunlit mesocosms with precision environmental controls and automated measurement systems that serve as a combined cuvette/lysimeter system to monitor both aboveground and belowground carbon, water, and nutrient fluxes.
