Asif has led technical design, development and implementation projects for a wide array of corporate and university clients across industries, including a database and analytics firm (SPINS) and a mental health company (Mindful Health Solutions). In his free time Asif does independent investment research and develops toolsets for investment professionals in the areas of Merger Arbitrage, Spinoffs and Insider Transactions. He has been a contributor to Seeking Alpha since 2005 and has been mentioned in various publications including Time.com, Barron's, Dow Jones, Kiplinger, TheStreet.com, Canada's Business News Network and AOL Daily Finance.
