A ROOM OF ONE'S OWN

Company members are entitled to a stipend for all subsequent productions with AROOO after achieving company member status, and are given preference in future shows. Company members are not bound to AROOO, and are always free to take on projects elsewhere. A Room of One's Own is a home for theatre artists--not a prison or a clubhouse... AROOO is a snobbery free zone. Who we invite into the company is not dictated by pretty headshots or lengthy resumes. Rather, our company is determined by work ethic, inventiveness, ingenuity, and talent--which are virtues we can only determine by working with you. There is no minimum or maximum number of company spots available, as we are interested in actors, writers, directors and stage managers who are driven by the need to create art, not the need to compete... Everyone can appreciate a good story told well, and yet, when we think of the theatre, we associate it with something we attend on special occasions--perhaps something the elite may enjoy..
