Christopher M. Colucci

Chris is an avid hockey fan, former player, and coach. Chris and his wife Lindsay enjoy calling Rhode Island their home and believe Westerly is a great place to bring up their son, Brayden. His enthusiasm to lead the golf program at Weekapaug Golf Club is evident with his infectious smile and upbeat personality. Chris is eager to meet and play with as many members as possible this year, his door is always open, please call him if you would like to play!

Dan Almeida

Dan has been working for Weekapaug Golf Club since 2003. Prior to WGC, he worked at The Misquamicut Club for 5 seasons. Dan was born in Queens, NY, and moved to Long Island when he was in the 4th grade, and graduated from Centereach High School in Selden, NY in 1996, A year later, Dan moved to Pawcatuck, and currently resides in Westerly with his wife Meaghan and their two young sons, Mason and Wheeler. Through the years at WGC, Dan has been honored and proud to say that many of the members are close friends, and some are considered family! Dan feels extremely blessed to be a part of the Weekapaug family.

Dawn Flaherty

Raised in Stamford, CT., Dawn attended college at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL, studying Art and English. After college Dawn moved to the DC area living in Virginia and Maryland for the next 18 years. Before becoming a full time Mom, Dawn spent 8 years working for Eastern Business Machines as a Technical Writer in Greenbelt, MD. Dawn and her family moved to Rhode Island in 1995. She has one son and two daughters. Dawn is also blessed with two grandsons and three granddaughters.

Jack Tosone

Jack relocated back to RI after 22 years in Manchester, VT, for his most recent position at Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk, MA, where he also served as the General Manager. Prior to Ledgemont, Jack served as the General Manager of the Haystack Club (now the Hermitage Club) in Wilmington, VT. His previous career in hotel management includes positions with Hyatt and Ritz-Carlton hotels, Chatham Bars Inn, and The Equinox Resort. A PGA member since 1996, Jack�s golf background also includes First Assistant Golf Professional positions with both The Equinox Resort in Manchester, VT and Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, MA. Jack is also a PSIA Level II certified ski instructor, having spent his winters as a full time instructor at Bromley Mountain in Vermont for 11 years. Jack now makes his home in Charlestown with his wife Cindy. They are proud parents of two daughters; Jessica who lives in Centerville, VA, and Courtney who lives in Rockland, MA.

James Higgins

James got his culinary start right here at Weekapaug Golf Club! Starting as a dishwasher at 15, he worked his way up through the kitchen and went on to culinary school after graduating from Stonington High School. Through working with farmers and local artisans, he's learned that food should travel the shortest distance from the farm to the plate. This has given him a respect for ingredients and the work that goes into preparing truly good food. James has worked at such places as Mount Snow Oyster Club, Engine Room and Grass and Bone. In his down time, James enjoys spending time with his daughter, fishing, hiking and target shooting. James resides in Stonington CT.

Joe Maulucci

Joe was born and raised in the small town of Bolton, Connecticut. He is making his return for what will be his fifth season at Weekapaug and second as Assistant Professional. Joe is a very passionate sports fan, cheering on the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins almost every game. Previously playing soccer, baseball and basketball, athletics has always played a big role in his life. Joe is a 2021 Graduate of East Catholic high School in Manchester Connecticut and is studying communications at URI. Along with his college studies Joe has also began to enter the PGA world passing his PAT last June and moving onto the course work sections.

Michelle Raggi

Michelle is back for her sixth season! She is excited to thrive in her role as the Golf Shop Coordinator. Please stop in and see her for fashion tips and to place any special orders. Her experience in the watch and fine jewelry industry have developed a keen eye to keep you in style this summer!

Rob Minger

Rob�s passion for the club industry and hospitality has led to a 26 year career as both an assistant golf professional as well as a food and beverage manager. His philosophy is to treat all members equally while exceeding their individual expectations and dining experiences. Rob began his club career in high school as a caddie at Rhode Island Country Club, and then moved on to be an Assistant Golf Professional at both Montaup Country Club and The Carnegie Abbey Club, where he was on the opening team. After four years as an Assistant Golf Professional, Rob transitioned to the Food and Beverage side of the business, working at Quidnessett Country Club for five years before returning to RICC as a their Assistant Clubhouse Manager. After the birth of his first child, Rob accepted a position with the Coast Guard House in Narragansett in order to be closer to home. With the opportunity to return to the club business, Rob is excited to join the Weekapaug management team as the Food and Beverage Manager and to help shepherd in the next chapter at Weekapaug with a newly remodeled clubhouse and the challenge of taking the service and overall dining experience to the next level. In his free time, Rob enjoys golfing, surfing, and spending time with his family. Rob resides in Green Hill, RI with his wife Caitlin, daughter Helena, and son Weston.

Sandy Planchon

Will Farnsworth

Born and raised in State College, Pennsylvania, Will began playing golf when he was a teenager and played competitively in high school. Will studied Turfgrass Science at The Pennsylvania State University. While in college, Will was a server and office manager at a local five-star restaurant, caddied for a summer at Congressional Country Club and interned at Shelter Harbor Golf Club. He accepted a full-time job at Shelter Harbor in 2012 working as an Assistant Superintendent in Training. From 2013 to 2015, Will worked as an Apprentice Superintendent at The Los Angeles Country Club during Gil Hanse�s renovation of the North Course which will hold the 2023 U.S. Open. He returned to Shelter Harbor Golf Club as an Assistant Superintendent from 2015-2018. Before joining the Weekapaug Golf Club�s team, Will was the head Golf Course Superintendent at Agawam Hunt, Lake of Isles South Course, and Mansion Ridge Golf Club. He also enjoys volunteering for USGA, PGA and LPGA tour events when time allows. Although his golf handicap has not improved while being a Golf Course Superintendent, he still has a strong passion for the game and has a new found love of providing top golf course conditions. Will also enjoys fly fishing, surf fishing, kayaking , and skiing in the winter. If you see Will on the course, please take a moment to introduce yourself.
