KATY SHAND

I'm a futures researcher and creative strategist with a multi-disciplinary design background. I'm interested in social and environmental sustainability, holistic thinking and connecting the dots to explore and communicate design, colour and material futures. I work with brands and organisations to provide contextualised, actionable insight for design, colour and material innovation... I trained in embroidery design at the Glasgow School of Art and spent eight years creating embroidered textiles for clients in the UK, Europe and US. As well as developing concepts for fashion and interiors I worked with retail design teams to create bespoke textile installations.
