Aimee Lum has enjoyed a legal career spanning 17 years. Born and raised in Hawaii, she is an alumni of Punahou School, received her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Michigan in 2000, and obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law in 2005. During law school, Ms. Lum served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and externed for the Honorable Richard R. Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Honorable David Alan Ezra and the Honorable Barry M. Kurren of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii. Ms. Lum began her legal career as an associate at Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel then spent 16 years at the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, where she was a law clerk for the Honorable David Alan Ezra and the Honorable Leslie E. Kobayashi, and a career law clerk for the Honorable Jill A. Otake and the Honorable Kevin S.C. Chang, working on a wide range of high-profile civil and criminal cases. Passionate about non-profit causes, Ms. Lum has served on a number of boards since 2013. She is currently on the boards of directors for the Hawaii Women's Legal Foundation, American Cancer Society Hawaii Guam, Honolulu Zoo Society, and Drill Team Hawaii Booster Club, presently and previously holding a variety of leadership roles. Blaine Rogers Attorney

From 2008-2020, Blaine Rogers litigated complex commercial and real estate disputes, as well as class, bad faith, and civil rights actions, as an attorney and partner with Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing, now known as Dentons US LLP. Among his victories, he helped stop the State of Hawai`i from making potentially deadly cuts to health care benefits available to citizens of Compact of Free Association countries and secured judgment against the State forcing it to comply with federal timeliness rules for distribution of SNAP, or food stamp, benefits. Mr. Rogers has argued cases before Hawai`i State and Federal courts, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. From 2016-2020, he was named one of Honolulu's Best Lawyers and, from 2018-2022, a Hawai`i Super Lawyer. He has maintained a Preeminent Rating (the highest available) for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability from Martindale-Hubbell AV from 2014 to present. From 2016-2018, Mr. Rogers served as Hawai`i lawyer delegate to the United States Circuit Court for the Ninth Circuit and, during this same period, served on his prior firm's executive management committee. He was named Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year by the Hawai`i State Bar Association in 2012. Chase H. Livingston

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, Chase received his B.S. in Conservation Resource Studies from the University of California at Berkeley in 2012, after spending his Junior year at the University of Ghana, Legon. Following his graduation from college, Chase spent several years in the Bay Area working in the field of energy and water conservation, before returning to Hawai‘i to pursue a law degree at the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai‘i. In 2019, he graduated magna cum laude from the Richardson School of Law, where he received certificates in Environmental Law and Native Hawaiian Rights. While in law school, Chase was the Student Bar Association Senate President, a board member for the American Constitution Society, a founding member of the National Lawyers Guild student chapter of Hawai‘i, and an active participant in the Environmental Law Program's Energy Justice Initiative. Chase served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Todd W. Eddins in the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawai‘i (now Associate Justice Eddins), and as a legal and policy extern for the City and County of Honolulu Office of Climate Change, Sustainability, and Resilience (CCSR), and the Blue Planet Foundation. Following his graduation from the Richardson School of law, Chase served as law clerk for the Honorable Associate Justice Michael D. Wilson at the Hawai‘i Supreme Court. Chase is a musician, mountaineer, and waterman who is passionate about social and environmental justice and is dedicated to helping his local and global community mitigate and adapt to the ongoing climate crisis. Hannah Matsunaga Attorney

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, Hannah is a graduate of Punahou School, Vassar College, and Stanford Law School. At Stanford, Hannah led the workers' rights pro bono group, representing low-income workers against their bosses. She was also a member of the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic; her team won Mount Lemmon Fire Dist. v. Guido, 139 S. Ct. 22 (2018), which established that the Age Discrimination in Employment Act covers state employers, regardless of size. Hannah started her legal career at a California-based civil rights law firm focusing on gender discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, and sexual harassment. She then served as a law clerk for Judge Jesus G. Bernal of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and Judge Mark J. Bennett of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Clerking on both a trial court and an appellate court has given her valuable insight into federal court practice at all stages of a case, as well as an interest in the diversity of legal practice. Hannah's practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, sexual abuse, and civil rights. In her first year at Davis Levin Livingston, she helped try a wrongful death case on behalf of a man who died by suicide at Halawa Correctional Facility, as well as a medical malpractice case on behalf of a child injured by negligence at Tripler Hospital.
