Amy Cordova is our Customer Service Representative Lead at Cordova Insurance Agency. She grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin, and later went to UW-Oshkosh to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology.
She joined Cordova Insurance Agency in 2014 as a Customer Service Representative and has since moved on to become the Customer Service Representative Lead, helping our commercial accounts primarily. Before joining Cordova Insurance Agency, she was a Geek Squad Agent at Best Buy. Through her CISR courses and agency experience, she brings knowledge of a vast array of Commercial Lines exposures to ensure you receive the best coverage and pricing.
She currently resides in Tomahawk with her husband, Kurt, their dogs, Milly & Monty, and their children, Harlow & Hudson. They like to do numerous outdoor activities and stay plenty active.
Jennifer Cordova is the Office Manager and Accountant at Cordova Agency in our Merrill location. She grew up in Tomahawk and later went to UW-Stevens Point to earn her degree in Accounting and Business Administration.
She joined Cordova Agency in 2019. Before joining Cordova Agency, she was the Financial Controller at J.W. Perry, Inc. She comes to us with many years' experience in public accounting, payroll, and human resource management.
Outside of work, Jennifer is co-owner of Dragonfly Dream Peonies, a local flower farm & florist. She is also actively involved as the Treasurer for Boy Scout Troop 503 and a Lincoln County Master Gardener Volunteer.
Jennifer currently resides in Merrill with her partner, Jeff, and their children Aidan and Brendan. They enjoy spending time with family and traveling.
Jeremy Cordova, along with my wife Carrie, own Cordova Agency Inc. in Merrill, WI. Jeremy grew up on a small farm outside of Tomahawk and went to UW-Madison, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology.
Jeremy has owned the Cordova Agency since January of 2012 after purchasing the Utech Agency, where he had worked since 2004. Before entering the insurance industry, Jeremy held various jobs that provided valuable experiences that he uses to this day in crafting insurance protection programs for his clients. Jeremy attained the Certified Insurance Counselor designation (CIC) and is the chair of the legislative Committee of the Professional Insurance Agents of Wisconsin, where he also is a member of the Board of Directors.
When not working, Jeremy enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and flying. He is a current member and past President of the Merrill Rotary Club. His family very much enjoys attending Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill.
Jeremy lives right between Tomahawk and Merrill and identifies with and maintains strong ties to both communities.

Joe is an insurance agent at Cordova Agency in our Merrill location. He grew up in Tomahawk and later joined the US Army Reserve and attended college at UWSP to earn a degree in Paper Science. School was cut short due to being called to active duty service resulting in spending over a year in Iraq. Since then, he has continued his military duty in mostly a reserve status and will reach the milestone of 20 years of service in early 2021.
Joe joined Cordova Agency in 2016 as an insurance agent and has been helping clients ranging from life insurance to homeowner's insurance to multi-million dollar business insurance protection. Before joining Cordova Agency, he was a carpentry foreman at VanStydonk Construction for 13 years. His wide-ranging experience and extensive application of risk management allow him to find, explain, and apply coverages to his business and individual clients. Joe has graduated from the highly accredited Polestar - Producer Development Program and has most recently attained the professional designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative CISR.
Outside of work, Joe is actively involved in the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation as the chapter chairman, the Headwaters Builders Association as President, and volunteers for church and school activities for his children.
Joe currently resides in Tomahawk with his wife Hilary, their children Willow and Quinn, and dog Scout, where they enjoy boating, traveling, hunting, and fishing.

Makala Wenzlick joined our team in 2023 as a Customer Service Representative. Makala worked at Northern Sight Vision Clinic in Tomahawk for four and a half years before coming to Cordova Insurance Agency. She is eager to meet everyone and assist them with their insurance needs and questions.
Makala was born and raised in Tomahawk, WI where she met her husband, Jake. They live in Tomahawk with their daughter, Lillie, and two dogs, Max, and Ruby. Outside of work, Makala enjoys camping with her family and spending time on the water.

Russ grew up on a dairy farm in northern Marathon County. In his younger years, he was very active in 4H and FFA where he achieved occasional sales awards and eventually served as a State FFA Officer and later worked through the officer chairs in the newly formed Wisconsin FFA Alumni. Russ took over management of the family farm in 1983 when his father became president of what was then known as Wausau Mutual Insurance Company.
Russ entered the insurance business officially in 1987 working for Rural Insurance in Merrill. During these years, he attained his LUTCF (a life insurance education designation) and was a member of the Wisconsin Valley Association of Life Underwriters.
Six years later he joined Lutheran Brotherhood as an agent, where he obtained his Securities licenses and later Wickes Financial, getting his first experience in the independent agency insurance system. In 1995 he started Utech Agency as a franchise of The Murphy Insurance Group. During these years Russ was an active member of both the "Big I" Independent Insurance Agents Association, and the PIA of Wisconsin.
In 2012, Russ sold the agency to Jeremy and Carrie and later spent a few years working for other agencies, but in 2021 returned to work at Cordova Agency.
Russ does not really have spare time having always enjoyed being involved in community organizations. He is currently a member of the Wausau Elks, Wausau Noon Optimists, Berlin-Hamburg Lions Club where he serves as Treasurer, and the Wausau Area Builders Association in which he is currently serving on the board as a director after several turns in the officer positions and chair of several committees.
Russ has been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill where his children attended school and in years past served on the School Board there.
His latest adventure is assisting his uncle's family in managing their business, Woodland Trail Winery in Lakewood, so weekends are never boring.
At Cordova Insurance Russ will continue working with customers who have any insurance need, whether it be business or personal.

Thea Osborne is a Customer Service Representative at Cordova Insurance Agency. She grew up in Merrill and opened Wit's End DaySpa in 2015. She did cosmetology, esthetics, and tattooing for almost 10 years before making a career change to Insurance in 2021.
She joined Cordova Insurance Agency in 2021 as a Customer Service Representative and helps primarily with personal accounts. Thea currently resides in Corning with her husband, Keith, their 3 dogs Bella, Rosie, and Enzo, and their sons Duane and Duncan. They are active members of their church, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Corning, and love spending time with their families.
