Brian Rossiter is a Director and Chairman of BBR Consultancy Ltd. Brian has had 36 years experience of teaching in schools in England. Working in some of the most impoverished communities, he has had a major impact on the lives of young people and their life chances. He has spent the last 12 years as a Headteacher in an ex-mining community delivering against the tagline "Regeneration through Education". Brian spent 9 years on a national Secondary Heads' group advising both Labour and Coalition Governments on national policy and its implementation. As a member of Council for Nottingham University he also has an insight into the changing world of Higher Education.
Brian's proudest achievement was initiating and delivering a £330m ("Real Value" project cost) Education & Leisure PFI project. He created and promoted a vision for education across Bassetlaw, North Nottinghamshire. This included the preparatory networking, commitment building and (2 phase) bidding support for PFI credits to deliver a full rebuild of his school, four other 11-18 schools, a 3-18 Special School and two post-16 Centres. The project included two additional Leisure Centres for the district (RV £60m). Over a 10 year period he worked with many stakeholders including Governors, LEA/LA officers, elected Members, all nine secondary schools and other primaries in Bassetlaw, parents, community groups, the Local Authority, Education Committee, MPs, the Learning & Skills Council (as it was then) and Development Agencies.

Post 16 Working Group
Led the development of the leadership/management and financial structures required in the two unique PFI post-16 Centres. The Worksop post-16 Centre (part of Valley School) delivers primarily AS & A2 courses to Worksop school students and forms part of the "Worksop solution" for co-ordinated delivery of post 16 continuing education.
Brokering Academy status
For both Valley and Portland Schools (the only two secondary schools in Worksop town) with a single sponsor to ensure co-ordinated development for Worksop secondary education into the future.

A former Head in two successful primary schools, David Raven-Hill is a well respected educationalist who has taught in Sussex, Cambridgeshire, Cumbria and Kirklees and been judged "outstanding" by Ofsted. As a local authority School Improvement Officer and School Improvement Partner (SIP) he has extensive experience of supporting schools to improve outcomes for pupils.
David believes in inclusive education with equalities and human rights at the heart. He has a passion for leadership development, school cluster and partnership working and transformational change through whole school improvement.
He has led the development of community cohesion, Prevent, interfaith understanding and RE both locally and regionally. He set up and the partnership resulting in the nationally recognised award-winning Interfaith Kirklees (Schools), he sits on the national executive of the Association of RE Inspectors, Advisers and Consultants, and contributes to national strategy. He helped to develop an extensive school linking programme across the district and as a result has been commissioned to write national resources around critical literacy and controversial issues.

Helen Butler has worked in education services- both in schools and local authority- for 31 years in Primary, Secondary and Special sectors.
Helen has represented Kirklees Local Authority at national and regional forums. Helen's role has demanded multi-agency working, commissioning, and supporting partnerships. Her skills are in training, project and people management, strategic planning, curriculum design and joined up thinking!
Helen is an effective trainer who can bring any topic to life, bringing her clear thinking and good communication skills to make her training sessions well organised, interesting and engaging. She is a creative thinker and leader who values interpersonal relationships highly. Her training sessions are relevant and practical- here are some comments from recent delegates;

Helen is currently Chair of Governors in a Church primary school enabling her to keep in touch with the daily challenges facing schools today. A recent inspection praised her ‘strong' leadership which contributed effectively to good school outcomes.
Julie Bowdidge has over 27 years experience in Education and Children Services, much of this in senior leadership roles, covering areas such as Leadership and Management, Strategic CPD & ICT, Support Services, Business Planning and Traded Services. This has included working with Headteachers and school leadership teams, unions and professional associations and external organisations such as the National College and local universities.

Marian Wood is a successful coach and trainer with over 30 years experience working with schools, local authorities and the private sector.
A Pacific Institute master facilitator, Marian has expertise in Leadership analysis and coaching, cultural insight and individual and organisational change and development.
Her focus is in helping individuals and organisations to unlock their potential and embrace innovative approaches to enhance their work and, in so doing, to improve their performance and wellbeing.
Mark Colley has over 20 years experience in education, working in a number of secondary schools holding whole school responsibilities and senior roles. He has worked within a number of local authorities involved in school improvement work across both the primary and secondary phases
Mark will be an independent consultant from 1st August 2011 and is an Ofsted inspector working in schools and children's centres nationally. Mark has a strong knowledge of the inspection process. He has most recently been involved in work surrounding the proposed new Ofsted framework due for implementation in January 2012.
Mark also specialises in support surrounding schools self evaluation, monitoring and quality assurance.
