Mr. M. Velayudhan is the Founder of Catalyst Group. He hails from Palakkad, Kerala, India and completed his education as a Chartered Accountant in Mumbai, India. He made his foray into the chemicals industry by establishing Organic Chemicals in 1985 in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. He used networking as a key to identify opportunities and market needs in the industry. Having established operations in Dar-es-Salaam, he shifted base to Nairobi where Catalyst Group could grow and expand operations. He now operates from Nairobi and serves as Managing Director for all the group's operations over East Africa.
