TIM SMITH

Tim Smith has been a stone mason for over 20 years. Having studied at the central London City and Guilds College, he was apprenticed at a traditional stonemasonry company where he was taught the skills and practices handed down over the generations. He has worked on many well-known buildings, including the Houses of Parliment and Westminster Abbey. He has worked for many leading designers, such as Colefax and Fowler, Jane Churchill, Jonathan Reed, and Chester Jones- to name a few... At Tim Smith Fireplaces and Stonemasonry, we have now gathered a team of like-minded individuals who believe that in an age of commercialism, craftsmanship need not suffer. All our products are made on commission only basis. This means that, unlike imported and mass-produced stonework, the finished article is unique and tailor-made to the customer's requirements.
