John Bingham is a Kingsport, Tennessee native who, after graduating from law school, returned to the Kingsport area to begin his professional career. John over 40 years of legal experience. Early in his career he served four years as Assistant District Attorney in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Since 1984 he has been engaged in the private practice of law. John is a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist who represents people who have been injured and the families of people who have died as a result of negligence. John focuses his practice on two primary areas - medical liability cases, including medical malpractice, defective medical devices and pharmaceutical drugs and motor vehicle liability cases, including truck accidents and automobile accidents. In addition, he represents clients who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma and other lung diseases as a result of exposure to asbestos products. John has received Martindale Hubbell's highest rating (AV) since 1994 and has been recognized by SuperLawyers, The National Trial Lawyers and Marquis' Who's Who. He has been a partner in the law firm of Hawkins, Bingham & Miller since 1994 and lives in Kingsport with his wife, Linda.
