Steenwyk and Sons Excavating LLC is a full service excavating contractor serving the greater Grand Rapids area for over 50 years. We specialize in commercial and residential site excavation for your new or remodeling building projects!... Our company was founded in 1954 by Julius Post as Julius F. Post Excavating. His son-in-law, Raymond J. Steenwyk, worked with Julius for many years before taking the business over in 1976. Our company ran under the name of Ray Steenwyk and Sons Excavating until his sons, Ken and Keith Steenwyk took the business over in 2004. Ken and Keith both grew up in the excavating business and today still provide the same quick, reliable affordable, worry -free service as their grandfather did in 1954... We also provide delivery services for a variety of aggregate materials. This list includes sand, stone, road gravel, screened and unscreened topsoil and crushed concrete. Better yet we do not have a limited load size and will haul any amount you need.
