Dr. Allison Sian Margulies

Dr. Allison Sian Margulies is a Clinical Psychologist and Adjunct Faculty in Social and Behavioral Sciences at Front Range Community College. She received her PhD in School Psychology with a specialization in Pediatric Psychology in 2006 and her MA in Psychology in 2003 from The University of Memphis. She also completed externships at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Omaha Public Schools through the Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology. After receiving her doctoral degree, Dr. Margulies completed a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship through Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD, in Child Clinical Psychology and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities with specializations in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Neuropsychological Assessment. Dr. Margulies has worked at hospitals, clinics, colleges, and schools over the course of her career, and has served as the Executive Director of a Psychological & Counseling Center and an Autism Center in Colorado. Her areas of specialization include Autism Spectrum Disorder and related neurodevelopmental and/or mental health disorders, comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments and evaluations, anxiety and mood disorders, positive behavior support and management, parenting support and psychoeducation, and school consultation. She has extensive experience diagnosing and treating individuals who present with complex, high-risk behavior and co-occurring neurodevelopmental and/or mental health disorders. She is particularly interested in the impact of Autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders on mental health, such as anxiety and depression, as well as executive functioning, social-emotional functioning and relationships, school/work success, and family dynamics. Dr. Margulies has published and presented in the areas of cognitive and neuropsychological assessment, Autism Spectrum Disorder, pediatric health conditions, and giftedness, and she provides workshops and trainings to the Colorado community on topics such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, psychological assessment and evaluation, and positive behavior supports and management.

Dr. Nicole Fleming

Dr. Nicole Fleming graduated with her masters and doctorate degrees from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology of Argosy University. Her post-doctoral fellowship and initial employment was with Karol Neuropsychological Services and Consulting in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She later became Board Certified as a Clinical Health Psychologist after working for a decade at Essentia Health, a large health system serving Northern Minnesota and surrounding areas. Her clinical specialties include working with patients who have chronic pain, insomnia, various medical issues, bariatrics, as well as anxiety, depression, trauma, and LGBTQ issues, including gender transitions. She treats patients who have neurological disorders including migraine headaches, MS, ALS, neuroinvasive Lyme's Disease, stroke, brain injury, seizure disorders, mild cognitive impairment and functional movement disorders. Dr. Fleming does evaluations for bariatric surgery and for gender transitioning with hormone therapy and/or surgery. Primary modalities for treatment include Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mind/body modalities such as Biofeedback and hypnosis. She works with patients ages 12 and older and will see individuals and couples.

Jeffrey E. Glasser

Jeffrey E. Glasser, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who has treated children, adults, couples and families in Colorado since 1994. A California transplant, Dr. Glasser received his Master's degree from Boston College and Doctoral degree from the California School for Professional Psychology at Berkeley. He interned for two years at Oakland Children's Hospital and Charles River Hospital in Massachusetts. He completed a one-year externship in couples and family therapy at Union Hospital in Massachusetts and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Rocky Mountain Marriage and Family Institute. In the past, Dr. Glasser has been a regular contributor to the Rocky Mountain Parent Magazine and has had numerous articles published on children, couples, and families. Prior to joining Stress Management Family Counseling Center, he was Director of the Colorado Center for Attention and Behavior Disorders and sat on the Alcohol Awareness Community Advisory Panel for the Coloradoan newspaper. He has lectured at several universities and has provided training to various groups including Hewlett-Packard and the Poudre School District. Patricia M. Tahan

Patricia M. Tahan, Ph.D.received her doctorate and master's degrees from Boston College and her bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross. Before relocating to Colorado, she practiced for several years in the Boston area at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center and the VA Medical Center. Dr. Tahan has extensive training and expertise in cognitive and behavioral therapies and specializes in behavioral medicine. At Lahey Clinic, Dr. Tahan directed a Chronic Pain Management program, coordinated the eating disorders and weight control programs, served on the breast cancer treatment team, and contributed to the nationally accredited sleep disorders unit. Dr. Tahan's areas of expertise also include treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, and pregnancy and post-partum adjustment. She treats adults, older adults, adolescents, and couples. Dr. Tahan has training in the use of EMDR, and she has a special interest in the practice of mindfulness based cognitive therapies. Dr. Tahan currently serves on the board of directors for the Fort Collins Crossroads Safehouse. She is a member of the American Psychological Association. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Tahan enjoys consulting and training.
