Solonics, Inc., a manufacturer of telecom cross connect products and color coded backboards, began operations in 1985 by manufacturing S89B, S89D brackets along with S20 distribution posts. Shortly thereafter, we introduced a full line of Color Coded Backboards to the market... Solonics, Inc, is a manufacturer of color-coded backboard systems, 110 cross-connect wire management for the voice and data industries... Our manufacturing facility is located in Vallejo, California at the old Navy base on Mare Island. Ironically, Bill O'Neil, our co-founder was once the helmsman and shopkeeper on the U.S.S. George Washington, a Mare Island-based submarine back in the late 1970's.
