Portage Soundworks is the premier studio for music lessons and recording in Portage, WI. We offer music lessons on many instruments including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, mandolin, ukelele, banjo, piano, drums, drum set, marimba, hand drums & percussion... We concentrate on teaching you the instrument that you want to learn along with music essentials like music reading, music theory, live performance, performing with others and instrument maintenance & care. Lesson plans are individually designed around the songs and subjects on which you want to concentrate while interspersing the essentials you need to know to be a well rounded musician. The two most important things to know about music are that it can bring immense joy while bringing people together and you can perform music for your entire life!
