Oster Engineering, which is based in Germiston, Gauteng, South Africa, was established in 1994 when we purchased the stud and anchor division of Morganite Refractory Industries. After a humble beginning, the business grew steadily and has undergone dramatic extensions and development over the past 15 years. We have become one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of weld studs and refractory anchors in South Africa... Oster Engineering is a member of the Institute of Refractory Engineers of South Africa and is therefore committed to upholding the standards of manufacture in the industry... We became aware that we had untapped production capacity and as our market share grew we became financially stronger. The company succeeded in increasing production and sales to utilize this increased capacity.
