Mechanical Electrical Systems Inc. has been in business as a distributor for motor controls since 1979. In 2009, MES developed and patented BLINKLESS® technology, held by its sister company Blinkless Power Equipment LLC, as used on the MicroGreen Project, a State of Indiana/ARRA grant for SAIC, which combined Lithium-Ion batteries, a methane fuel source, a generator, photovoltaic panels, and our control system on a 53 foot mobile power trailer... Expanding on this technology, Mechanical Electrical Systems designed, built, and delivered the 45kW BLINKLESS® control system used on the Hybrid Power Trailer (HPT), which was demonstrated by the US Army Corps of Engineers Engineer Research and Development Center-Construction Engineering Research Laboratory(ERDC-CERL) at the Network Integration Evaluation (NIE 16.1) in Fort Bliss, TX, and was one of the eleven technologies selected to move forward in the final report.
