Vaunda's marketing expertise allows her to draw upon her past business experiences and upon the knowledge of important leaders in the wedding fashion industry. For this reason, she convinced the local bridal shops, hotels, caterers, etc. to concentrate their efforts on one large bridal show, instead of the usual ten to twelve different shows that were occurring in the area. This idea grew into what is known today as the Roanoke Valley Bridal Showcase. The Roanoke Valley Bridal Showcase has grown to be the premier bridal show in the State of Virginia. Additionally, Vaunda publishes the Southwest Virginia Bridal Guide, an annual publication covering all of Southwest Virginia... This year will mark our 20th year of producing the finest bridal trade show in Virginia. We have produced as many as twelve individual bridal shows per year, in the Roanoke Valley alone.
