Frank Vitagliano - CEO

Frank Vitagliano has served as the GTDC's chief executive officer since April 2019. His focus is on highlighting the on-going value provided by member distributors to the overall IT supply chain. In addition, the GTDC focuses on strengthening partnerships between members and vendors by addressing industry-wide issues and opportunities related to the integral role of distribution in the IT channel. In his career, Frank has consistently been recognized as a leader in the IT industry. He was inducted into the IT Hall of Fame in August 2017, in recognition of his leadership and contributions over the course of more than three decades. Additionally, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by VAR Business for his accomplishments as an industry channel chief. He is the only OEM executive inducted into Ingram Micro's Venture Tech Network Hall of Fame. Frank sits on the Board of Directors for The Channel Company and ADAR. He was previously the vice chairman of the Board of Directors for CompTIA as well as a member of the Marketing Board of Technology for Georgia (TAG) and the Board of Directors for Xsigo corporation. In addition, he's served on the Board of Advisors for numerous companies and regularly provides advice related to go-to-market strategies, particularly regarding indirect channels Frank has had a long and distinguished career in the IT industry. Prior to the GTDC role, he was president and CEO of Computex Technology Solutions, a $135m managed services solution provider specializing in design, build-out and support of large complex data centers. Previously, Frank worked at Dell Technologies from 2013 to 2016, as both senior vice president of global distribution sales and strategy as well as vice president of North America channel sales. Before joining Dell, Frank spent 7 years as senior vice president at Juniper Networks, where he held roles such as global channel chief and head of enterprise sales for North America. He started his career with IBM, working in a variety of positions with increasing responsibility, primarily in the sales and channel management areas. He retired from IBM after more than 30 years as the vice president of global distribution sales. Frank has a degree in business management from Northeastern University in Boston. He resides in Naples, Florida, with his wife, Jane. His daughter, Jillian, is a school teacher in the metro Atlanta area.
