Carmana Designs, Ltd. was founded by the husband and wife team of Carmen and Anna Maria Vona in 1981 with a passionate commitment for doing things the right way. The name is actually an incorporation of the first two names of Carmen and Anna Maria, thus Carmana... Precious metals embedded into organic shapes like tree trunks and branches take form in this luxurious, but whimsical dining room overlooking Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square. Note the dark-stained wenge cabinet fitted into the wall niche. Each drawer is cantilvered over the one below, which gives the feel of a bombe chest. The jeweled handles with silver birds perched on branches mirrors the wallpaper and echoes the organic room theme. This high level of detail is intrinsic in all the cabinetry that we design, fabricate and install here at Carmana Designs.
