WASHINGTON AUTO CARRIAGE

Founded in 1906 as a fabrication company, Washington Auto Carriage built and repaired horse-drawn buggies, stagecoaches, and cargo wagons... Washington Auto Carriage built wooden school bus bodies with roll-up canvas windows. Later, the company made shackles for the state prison in Walla Walla, Washington. Some of the shackles are on display in a local museum. The company also built a mining crew bus in its early years... By adapting to the changing economy, Washington Auto Carriage has succeeded over the years. We succeed when we listen to our customers and change with the market. Our strategy is to figure out where the customers are going and then go with them.
