Veldhouse Insurance moved to Cottage Grove, Minnesota in early 2005. In January of 2007 Veldhouse Insurance severed its contract with Allstate Insurance and re-opened as an independent insurance agency. As an independent agency Veldhouse Insurance Agency was able to obtain many contracts with multiple insurance carriers such as AAA Insurance, Progressive, and the Hartford. This gave the agency the ability to compare coverages and premiums... Insurance is primarily a matter of paying a bit of money now so that you don't have to pay a lot of money later, and it comes down to a relatively simple question: If something happens, can you afford to pay for it out of pocket? Insurance is there so that we have a backup plan when the answer to that question is no.
