Damon Crumley

Damon Crumley serves in the role of Director of Development. He is a twenty-year veteran of multimedia and web development, crafting digital solutions for a range of industries. With a focus on interactive media, he has created award-winning online games, rich media advertising, pre-sale product simulations, touch-based museum kiosks, and online learning management systems. Damon's skill set includes proficiency with leading software and technologies such as Javascript, Visual Studio, Adobe Flash, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Google Analytics, and Visual Basic. In his work on Learning Blade, Damon's primary efforts go towards creating challenging and exciting lessons that engage students and inspire them to consider futures in the technical fields. He also assists in the overall curriculum direction, as well as conducts user training and optimization walkthroughs.

Dr. Dane Boyington - CTO, Founder

Dr. Dane Boyington is Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder of Thinking Media. Dane also served as the Vice President, Workforce Curriculum, for the Workforce Development Division of ACT, where he led curriculum development and technology planning. Dane, along with Sheila was responsible for the development of the curriculum systems for KeyTrain and Career Ready 101, and for the implementation of several new technology platforms which were acquired by ACT in 2010. He works to create technology systems that are practical, easy-to-use, and promote education in our country. Dane represented ACT on several occasions at meetings with the Manufacturing Institute to assist in the skills credentialing system. Dane also designed and developed the Certificate Key Program that was employed in Alabama to track certificate data. Dane is the visionary thought-leader for Thinking Media and leads the design and development of the tools created. Dane holds a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.S.in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida with high honors. Dane also held technical manager positions at DuPont prior to founding Thinking Media. Dane also co-founded CharacterEd.Net, an online system for character education in schools, and PictureRx, which provides a system for improving medication adherence in low-literacy populations.

Joshua M. Sneideman

Joshua M. Sneideman, is Learning Blade's Vice President in charge of implementation and teacher training. He has a M.A. Educational Leadership from Framingham State University, and B.A. Geology and Environmental Science James Madison University. He has worked as the Vice President Learning Blade, since 2015. In his time as VP he has helped lead a dramatic increase in usage of our E-Learning STEM Platform. Leads the design and implementation for the company's teacher training program, having personally delivered training to over 2,000 educators and school leaders. 94% of attendees would recommend training to others. Prior to his role at Learning Blade he served as the Albert Einstein Distinguished Education Fellow for the US Department of Energy in Washington DC for 2 years. While there he led the United States Global Change Research Program's Energy Literacy Framework Initiative, aligning instruction to NGSS, developing tools for instruction and networking with stakeholders. He also led in the development of STEM CAFÉ a Department initiative to engage young girls with the professionals at national labs across the country. Joshua has additional educational leadership roles in the state of Tennessee where he is a member of the state's STEM Advisory Council for the State of Tennessee, Division of College, Career and Technical Education, focused on aligning new CTE pathways to job demand in the state. He is a mayor-appointed board member for the Chattanooga City Youth and Family Services overseeing Head Start and Early Head Start programs and a STEM Advisory Board member for the University of Tennessee, focused on improving STEM teacher development. He has 10 years' experience as a middle school math-science teacher and leader. Joshua has led professional development workshop for NASA, Department of Energy, Housing and Urban Development, Smithsonian and presented at numerous STEM workshops around the country.

Ray Hensen

Ray Hensen serves the program director for the statewide implementation of Learning Blade in Arkansas as part of Governor Hutchinson's Computer Science Initiative. Ray partners with the Arkansas Public School Resource Center as a consultant and trainer specifically for the Learning Blade STEM curriculum. Ray has recently retired from the Arkansas Department of Career Education where he worked to establish regional business and industry advisory councils across the state. Ray is a former classroom teacher in career guidance and is the Executive Dir of the Arkansas Career Development Association. Aligning education and training to career pathways to meet industry and employer expectations is paramount Ray's passion for Arkansas.

Sheila C. Boyington - Founder, President

Sheila C. Boyington, P.E. is President and Co-Founder of Thinking Media. Sheila also served as the Vice President for ACT Workforce and led the sales and implementation team for the ACT NCRC/WorkKeys®/KeyTrain® team nationally. She now leads the team and efforts to expand Learning Blade and its adoptions. In these roles she became one of the most knowledgeable and experienced persons in the country with work/career ready programs and their implementations. Sheila has seen, and been involved in, the evolution of programs in most states with an NCRC, CRC, or WorkKeys program. She has worked with the state-level stakeholders in all of these states. Her involvement has been direct, choosing to work on such projects personally, as well as involving her former KeyTrain® staff, which is why her expertise is as vast as it is - and why she is known throughout the country in this capacity. Projects she has been involved in developing include, but are not limited to: The Kentucky Work Ready Program , The Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate Program , The Oklahoma Career Readiness Certificate Program, The Oklahoma Work Ready Community Program, The Alaska Career Readiness Certificate Program, The Michigan National Career Readiness Certificate Program, The Georgia Work Ready Program, The Georgia Work Ready Community Program, The Tennessee National Career Readiness Certificate Program, and The Virginia Career Readiness Certificate Program. Sheila has won numerous awards for her Entrepreneurship and Leadership including the Athena, Navigator of Entrepreneurship, Supernova, and Chattanooga Engineer Entrepreneur of the Year. Sheila is a Professional Engineer, and holds a Masters Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida. Sheila worked for environmental firms such as Black and Veatch, Parsons Engineering prior to founding Thinking Media.
