Anjanette Bobrow joined Syska in 2010 and currently serves as General Counsel. Her responsibilities include discussing business and legal risks with firm personnel, reviewing and negotiating agreements, developing corporate risk management policies, and managing outside counsel. As the firm's Chief Compliance Officer, Anjanette leads monthly meetings of the internal Risk Management Committee and acts as Secretary to the Board of Directors for several of Syska's entities. Anjanette received an undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, a master's in psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School. She has over 17 years of litigation and intellectual property experience working in New York City law firms and is licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut.

Anthony Jamsek

Anthony Jamsek is Syska Hennessy's director of information systems. In his role he oversees all software platforms, including ERP (enterprise resource planning) technologies, used by the firm. He also leads the project management office team, which assists with internal oversight and management of client projects. Jamsek, who is based in New York City, has worked at Syska for more than 25 years. He previously served as a project manager on the information and communication technology team, supervising work for large firms in the technology, commercial, and financial sectors. He is an active member of Syska Innovations, a subsidiary that invests in seed-stage companies, pilots their software and products, and promotes ideation and technology development within Syska. A resident of Cortlandt Manor, NY, Jamsek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Manhattan College in New York City. He is a registered communications distribution designer (RCDD).

As president and CEO of Syska Hennessy Group, Inc., Cyrus Izzo leads one of the world's preeminent engineering firms, with over 500 professionals across 20 offices. Cyrus, who joined Syska in 1993 as an electrical engineer, became president and CEO in 2023. He has pioneered the development of the firm's capabilities in consulting, information and communications technology (ICT), and commissioning; overseen a geographic expansion into Dubai and Shanghai; codified best practices; and established a collaborative and diverse management team to lead the firm's future growth. In 2005, Cyrus founded Syska's first global practice, Critical Facilities, which led to the firm's ranking by Engineering News-Record as one of the top three mission-critical engineering firms in the world. Under Cyrus's guidance, the practice has designed core systems for some of the world's most important data centers and trading floors. He continues to be a hands-on leader, managing several of the firm's key client relationships and projects with organizations such as JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Microsoft. Additionally, Cyrus is responsible for launching the subsidiary Syska Innovations, LLC, and facilitating the founding of AEC Angels, a venture fund covering seed through Series B + investments. Cyrus is excited about the future. "When I think about how our engineers leverage technology and high-performance, sustainable solutions, it inspires me," he says. "I get to help our clients execute some of the most uniquely challenging projects in the world." Cyrus holds a BSEE from Manhattan College and is a licensed professional engineer in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. He serves on the boards of New York Building Congress and 7×24 Exchange International.

Darren Alfano

Darren Alfano, CPA, is Syska Hennessy's chief financial officer. He is based in the firm's New York City headquarters. Darren has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of financial management, accounting, analysis, and controllership. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer at Eastern Communications Ltd., LLC, a telecommunications equipment distributor based in the Long Island City neighborhood of New York City. Previously, he held the same title at TEC Building Systems, LLC, a building technology company, also based in Long Island City. Earlier roles included managing director at Echo Financial Business Consulting in Rockville Centre, New York, where he currently resides, and senior vice president and global controller at IPC Systems, Inc., a technology company based in Jersey City, New Jersey. Darren earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from Fordham University in New York City and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the Binghamton University. He is a certified public accountant in New York State.

Frederick Noel

Frederick Noel is a highly accomplished information technology executive with success spanning 25+ years in high performance, multifaceted environments. Before joining Syska, Frederick held several IT leadership roles during a 17-year tenure at another global engineering firm. He is also PMP trained and a member of the ACEC New York Technology Committee. Based in Syska's Atlanta office, Frederick oversees IT across the company, supervising the entire corporate IT department and establishing its direction and goals. He first joined the firm in 2013 as IT Project manager. Recently, Frederick led the successful migration of Syska's full communication platform to Microsoft Teams. Frederick received an Associate in Applied Science degree from DeVry College in Woodbridge, NJ. Outside of Syska, Frederick is a member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of NY, a donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network.

John Passanante leads Syska Hennessy Group's fast-growing Western region, encompassing more than 115 professionals across five offices. He holds a BE in mechanical engineering from The State University of New York at Stony Brook, is a licensed professional engineer, and a registered communications distribution designer (RCDD). John ensures the highest level of technical excellence, project delivery, client focus, efficient operations, and collaboration among project teams and across offices. He oversees all Western region projects in operations for all our practice areas, including built environments, healthcare, aviation, critical facilities, information, communications technology (ICT), and commissioning. John began his career with Syska New York in 1997 and relocated to the West Coast in 2014. During his tenure in New York, he led the firm's ICT and commissioning and facilities management global practice areas. Under John's leadership, each practice experienced year-over-year growth and increased market share, driven by technical excellence, exceptional client service and operational efficiency. He developed technical benchmarks and project management approaches that have been adopted throughout the Syska organization and that have helped position the firm as a recognized industry standard setter. Recently, John's collaborations with the West Coast team include projects for In 2019, John completed training for Center for Creative leadership and by 2021 he plans to finish his training for FMI Executive Advisory. In addition, John is a member of the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), 7×24 Exchange International, Lean Construction Institute (LCI), Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), Downtown San Diego Partnership, Project Management Institute (PMI), and American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). John is also a board member of the ACE Mentor Program of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Business Council, and ACEC California. Outside of work, John is the Vice President of Poinsettia Heights HOA and a member of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Louis Curatolo, CPA, was promoted from Director of Finance to Chief Administrative Officer. In his new role, Curatolo will oversee human resources, information technology, information systems, real estate and facilities, and will collaborate with our new Chief Financial Officer. Curatolo has more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience within the architectural and engineering industry, nine of which have been at Syska. Curatolo, a resident of Northport, New York, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting, from Hofstra University in Uniondale, New York. He is a certified public accountant in the State of New York.

Michelle Galindez

Michelle Galindez joined Syska Hennessy Group in 2017 as the firm's new Director of Marketing and Communications. Michelle has over two decades of industry experience, and most recently served as the national marketing and communications lead for a global management and consulting firm for engineering services. There, she developed and enhanced the brand by creating and implementing a number of successful marketing, staffing, branding, communications and public relations campaigns. In 2016, Michelle was featured in Hispanic Executive for her role in rebranding; she has also served as a past president of the Society for Marketing Professionals Services (SMPS) and is currently part of the group's mentorship program. A true born-and-bred New Yorker, Michelle is a passionate Yankees fan. When she's not at a game, you can find her baking and decorating cakes for family and friends.
