Danny brings over 38 years of extensive experience in providing structural engineering services for diverse projects across the nation. He assumes a pivotal role in project oversight, meticulously conducting comprehensive reviews of all structural drawings prior to endorsing them with his signature and seal.
Recognizing the paramount importance of adhering to timelines and budgetary constraints, Danny has cultivated a reputation at SMF for consistently delivering projects on schedule and within financial parameters. His commitment to daily monitoring ensures that all project elements remain on course, contributing to SMF's established track record of meeting deadlines and upholding high-quality standards.

David recently celebrated 10 years with SMF. He is known for his dependability and ingenuity when presented with complex engineering challenges. His experience spans a wide range of projects from the federal government to multi-family apartments/mixed-use, historic renovation/preservation, and industrial style projects.
David brings versatility to the SMF team through his expertise with DoD projects. He is proficient in employing Anti-Terrorism Force Protection and progressive collapse and blast analysis, has developed RFPs for new construction for Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) facilities, and has performed value engineering studies for United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
David became a partner in 2022 and continues to channel his creativity and reliability into strong leadership decisions for the firm. He is passionate about client relationships and fostering cross-disciplinary collaborations.

Earl brings 28 years of multifaceted structural design expertise to the SMF team. His experience spans from large multimillion-dollar facilities to specialized projects for commercial clients, municipal governments, state governments, and the federal government.
Earl is well-versed in current federal, state, and local building and design codes. His extensive understanding of DoD projects includes significant insight into design for anti-terrorism force protection and special forces buildings. He is proficient with sustainable design as evidenced by his LEED Platinum and Gold certified projects.
In 2022 Earl advanced to partner, expanding the leadership team with his command of economical designs and innovative solutions. He continues to delight clients with his meticulous structural designs that achieve the unique visions of architects, owners, and other engineers.

Morgan has been an integral part of the SMF team since she joined the firm upon graduation from ODU in 2014. She hit the ground running and in 2019 became a licensed professional engineer in Virginia and Washington D.C. Her passion for engineering runs deep and she describes engineering as an art where she can flex her out-of-the-box thinking on creative solutions to client needs.
Morgan is experienced in a variety of project markets including hotels, schools, healthcare, and multi-family apartments/mixed-use. She has built strong client relationships rooted in clarity and consistent communication. Her expertise can be seen in her quality construction documents and solid project management. She currently mentors several EIT's to ensure the SMF values of quality and collaboration are extended to all team members.
In 2022 Morgan became a firm partner. She welcomes opportunities to expand her knowledge of industry trends in innovation and sustainability and translate them into success stories for the entire team.
