The store, owned and operated by Jeff Rowden, found its beginning's through Jeff's grandfather, James Robert "Robby" Rowden. Grandpa Robby's nephew, Dennis, had been successful as an optician, and Robby was certain that Jeff could be as well. Armed with a referral from Dennis, along with the help and gentle nudging of his Grandfather, Jeff was able to get his certification, and soon after opened Rowden Opticians in 1980...
