RECENT CINEMA FROM SPAIN was set up in Miami in 2011 as an initiative of EGEDA (the Spanish Audiovisual Producers' Rights Management Association), aiming to provide a new outlet for promotion of Spanish cinema in the United States, boosting its circulation to the public in general, and the international audiovisual industry... Recent Cinema from Spain exhibition series presents to Miami today's best films from Spain. This Seven Art showcase will feature appearances by leading figures in the Spanish film industry, who have contributed significantly to putting "Made in Spain" productions at the vanguard of filmmaking worldwide.
