Alex is driven to contribute to data-driven solutions for climate change, public health, affordable housing, and education.
Background
Alex joined Redstone as a Summer 2024 Intern, before his senior year at Rice University, where he studies social policy analysis and data science. His interdisciplinary degree path has fueled a passion for bridging gaps between public, private, and nonprofit sectors. He will join Redstone full time in August 2025 as an Analyst.

In other academic research, he has focused on community land trusts and Houston's unhoused population.
Alex serves as a Chapter Director and founding member of Biokind Analytics, a student-run organization providing data insights to nonprofits in the health sphere. Alex is most proud of his projects with Planned Parenthood and AmeriCorps providing recommendations on donor and volunteer retention, respectively. In 2023, he interned at National Geographic to analyze online viewership of their education resources and wildlife grants. These experiences have cemented his strong belief in the importance of nonprofit data analysis.
