The Port Authority of Jamaica (The Authority or PAJ) is a statutory corporation established by the Port Authority Act of 1972. It is Jamaica's principal maritime agency responsible for the development and regulation of Jamaica's seaports, the development & protection of Jamaica's shipping industry. The PAJ reports directly to the Ministry of Economic Growth & Job Creation (MEGJC).
