Odyssey radiation treatment planning software has been used globally to plan tens of thousands of treatment plans using proton, photon, electron and/or combinations of modalities... In 1990, the world's first hospital-based proton therapy center went on-line at the world-renowned Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. The ground-breaking team who developed that center, also created a team to design the world's first treatment planning software for proton therapy. That work led to the development of the Odyssey Radiation Treatment Planning System (RPTS,) the first FDA cleared planning system for proton therapy.
