NOONAN & LIEBERMAN - Key Persons
Brendan "Buzz" McClelland has over 15 years of experience representing financial institutions, real estate investors, private equity funds, and privately owned business entities. He has participated in various forms of civil litigation related to advocating for creditors' rights including prosecuting foreclosures and collection actions while defending mortgage lenders and mortgage servicers against unfair lending claims. In addition, he has represented droves of individual and corporate clients in transactions related to the purchase and sale of residential and commercial property.
During the foreclosure boom of the late aughts, Buzz managed numerous projects related to processing numerous high volume file referrals by larger lending institutions with limited resources through extreme organization and focused staff management. In addition, Buzz was a managing partner of the law firm of Weiss McClelland, LLC f/k/a Kozeny & McCubbin Illinois, LLC. Buzz prides himself on being constantly available to clients and understands that each client's goals and requirements ultimately become his goal, and that thought process is the key to success and gaining the client's trust.
In his spare time, Buzz enjoys playing golf and hanging out with old friends (and new) as much as possible. He is also a part-time chauffeur for his three children (ages 13, 12 and 8), carting them around to their various activities and sporting events. In addition, Buzz enjoys coaching youth sports and is adept at the craft of herding cats.
