Neil R. Gordon is a corporate finance advisor and strategy consultant who, for more than forty years, has provided efficient and effective financial solutions to emerging and mid-sized companies. He began his career with the accounting firm of Haskins & Sells and served as director, finance and accounting, of Empire of Carolina, Inc. Mr. Gordon was associated with Centronics Data Computer Corp, a computer peripherals manufacturer and Ekco Group, Inc., a leading consumer products manufacturer and marketer, for fourteen years, including eight years as the company's treasurer, before establishing N.R. Gordon & Company in 1995. Mr. Gordon serves on the board of directors of Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc., and has served on the boards of directors and audit committees of Datameg Corporation and the Andover Historical Society, the board of directors, audit committee and compensation committee of Avitar, Inc., and the boards of directors of Ekco Housewares, Inc., Woodstream Corporation, Kellogg Brush Company, Frem Corporation, The Frederick Douglass Charter School, Andover Soccer Association, Andover Committee for a Better Chance, and the Glen Rock (NJ) Ecology and Environment Committee, and as an advisor to many emerging companies. He was a Visiting Executive at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School and served as a judge at the Carroll School of Management of Boston College Business Plan Project. Mr. Gordon is co-inventor with Allan N. Weiss of an Index-Based Liquidity System and Method, Patent No. US 8,468,079 B2. Mr. Gordon is a Brookline, MA Town Meeting Member and Constable, and a member of the town's Advisory (finance) Committee. He served in the United States Navy and is a Vietnam veteran. Mr. Gordon graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, Smeal College of Business, in 1969. He is an avid sailor and cyclist.
