My passion is all about improving outcomes. Being Midwest born and bred, expectations were high from a young age to work hard, excel at anything you spend time on, and continually make things better. Craig Fimple

Job Titles:
  • Senior Vice President, Treasury and Capital Markets
I am proud to be a 5 th generation Coloradan and a lifelong fan of the Denver Broncos and the University of Colorado Buffaloes. After studying finance and accounting at CU Boulder, I was preparing to work for a big 5 accounting firm when a newspaper listing for a commercial real estate position caught my attention. I was intrigued by the opportunities presented by real estate. Over the past two decades, I have developed expertise in complex problem solving, a deep understanding of commercial real estate underwriting and credit, and a diverse network of relationships. I am thankful that I applied to that posting and have thoroughly enjoyed working in commercial real estate lending, and more recently development, for the past 25+ years.

Ed Christen

Job Titles:
  • Chief Capital Markets Officer
Since the start of my career as a CPA and CFA, I've had a passion for numbers and the stories they tell. Numbers allow for problem solving, informed decision making and the measurement of outcomes. While how I use numbers has evolved over time, including to produce financial statements, project pro formas, and structure and negotiate deals, one thing has always rung true for me - numbers are powerful and can drive critical conclusions and strategies.

Eric Roark

Job Titles:
  • Executive Vice President, Design & Construction
Several years ago I was working on a renovation project for an apartment complex. One of the resident mothers stopped to thank me for making the community a better and safer place for her kids. That helps me keep my perspective regarding design and construction, and it is why we do what we do at NexCore.

Greg Venn - CEO

I'm a Colorado native and I'm very proud of that. I grew up in South East Colorado, went to college in Boulder, and have spent my entire working career in the state. My dad, a cattle rancher in Lamar his whole life, taught me something early on about business that guided me throughout my career: "If a man's word is no good, then he is no good." So honesty and doing what you say is an important part of my business ethic. My career has spanned the areas of architecture, finance, real estate brokerage, property management, business administration, and construction management. Each experience has reinforced the importance of those core standards my dad was referring to of integrity, straight talk, openness, resiliency, and fairness. These standards define my current role as CEO of NexCore Group. I'm honored to have spent the last 20 years working with incredible partners, investors, and colleagues who have helped expand NexCore's mission and realize its vision.

Hunter MacLeod

Job Titles:
  • Executive Vice President, Real Estate Development
I love creating senior living communities because of the level of care and personal connection that goes into the development process. There is a certain challenge to these developments because you need to figure out how all the real estate, operational, healthcare, and lifestyle components fit together to create a holistic experience. Putting all those pieces together in the most effective way possible requires a new challenge for each senior living community we develop.

Jarrod Daddis - President

Job Titles:
  • President

Jeremy Allen

Job Titles:
  • Vice President, Investment Research
I once had a professor tell me I'd never make it in real estate. As a driven individual who seeks out challenges, I like proving people wrong. Rowing in the Ivy League, I developed a disciplined work ethic through hours of practice and repetition trying to get to that perfect stroke. I now use this same discipline to lead the top healthcare real estate research team in the country. With over 20 years in commercial real estate, I've held positions as an appraiser, broker, feasibility consultant, and head of research, giving me a well-rounded viewpoint of the real estate cycle. On the heels of the Great Recession, I brokered a 400-room boutique hotel in Scottsdale after many months, over 40 property tours and a lot of rolling up my sleeves and negotiating. Driving that project to the finish line ingrained in me that max effort and unyielding determination is required in a successful real estate deal. Having become the tip of the spear for the development team at NexCore, I've learned to carry a high standard. When an appraiser is valuing a property, a feasibility consultant is writing up a market study or a broker is selling a piece of real estate, once the project is finished you move on. In my position, it's required to accurately predict the future, champion the project at every turn, spend countless hours grounding assessments and hold personal accountability for your prediction once the project opens. I've never had more satisfaction in my professional career than seeing our projects successfully come to fruition.

It is a rewarding job, allowing me to create financial opportunities while leaving a lasting impact on our world.

Julia Wilson

Job Titles:
  • Senior Vice President, Real Estate Management
I grew up in Wisconsin, the heart of America's Dairyland and what I like to refer to as a true midwestern state and state of being. It is in the Midwest that my family taught me what hard work looks like and that working hard is not optional, it is expected. Midwesterners are not only stereotypically hard-working but also unconditionally caring, extremely honest (perhaps to a fault) and always friendly. This apple does not fall far from the proverbial midwestern tree.

Kirstin Barbour

Job Titles:
  • Director, Marketing
Creativity is in my DNA. I enjoyed arts and crafts of all kinds growing up. By age 15 I put my skills to the test and started a cake decorating business. Two years later I managed a philanthropic marketing campaign for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, winning a national DECA award. I then knew marketing was my true passion and have never looked back.

Kristen Neumann

Job Titles:
  • Senior Vice President, Leasing
I joined NexCore in 2008 and currently manage an integral department as the Director of Leasing.

Kyle Robbins

Job Titles:
  • Senior Vice President, Design & Construction
My dad was a civil engineer and used to bring home pictures from his job sites he would visit periodically. That piqued my interest in construction at an early age. I have now been in the industry for over 25 years. My first internship with a GC was at a children's hospital remodel project. When I saw how construction could really affect the lives of others and help people, I knew I wanted to build in the healthcare field. I have been able to build healthcare projects ranging from $25,000 to $260M. I enjoy being part of the entire development process, from site selection to concept to actual construction. The team of people I work with are very knowledgeable and always willing to help me learn and sharpen my development skills. When you enjoy the team of people you work with you enjoy where you are. I was athletic growing up and was involved in high school soccer, swimming, and golf. During the summer between my junior and senior year of high school I found my favorite sport, bicycle racing. I knew that I wanted to try and be a professional athlete or do something in construction. While at Oregon State University I raced for the cycling team, qualifying for Collegiate nationals twice. I was fortunate enough to take this to the next level and raced on a Pro/Cat 1/UCI Elite level for roughly eight years. During my time of sports, I learned that nothing comes easy. It is hard work, dedication and teamwork that gets you where you want to be in life.

Leah Chelist

I started with NexCore as a smaller company, and I have enjoyed the excitement of growing along with the company. I have always enjoyed numbers and people. Now, I'm the Vice President, Accounting for the accounting department, where I supervise a dynamic team of experts and produce over 100 sets of financials each month. I have managed a $1.4 billion portfolio throughout my career, giving me the expertise and experience needed to succeed.

Meg Davis

I am originally from Chicago, IL but relocated with my family to Colorado Springs, CO in my early childhood. I claim both my Chicagoan roots (Go Sox! Deep dish pies, and never ketchup on a Chicago Dog) and think my time in Colorado might round up to native status.

Michael Ray - Chief Investment Officer

Job Titles:
  • Chief Investment Officer
As a young private equity attorney, an early mentor instilled in me the guiding principle that the act of giving someone money - whether as a charitable contribution, a friendly wager, or an investment - is an inherently personal experience for all parties. Accordingly, the fundamentals of any capital formation exercise, like most things in life, are grounded in relationships.

Nathan Golik

Job Titles:
  • Executive Vice President, Real Estate Development
I come from a close family in Missouri where the saying goes "You have got to show me." My parents showed me hard work and honesty are the two core values that will drive your success. With 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and 18 years of specialized experience in healthcare real estate, I've completed more than $1 billion in projects. Throughout my career, I've been responsible for the development and financing of acute-care hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, micro-hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, cancer treatment centers, and medical office buildings throughout the nation. My vast industry experience enables me to have a strong understanding of the healthcare market, specifically when it comes to creating healthcare facilities that enable our clients to be more effective at their jobs.
