If we were to name the most influential persons in this line, that would definitely be Gloria Higuera and David Mercer, owners of the company. David migrated to Mexico from the U.S. at an early age, searching for his real passion. While traveling, he came upon a beautiful little town called Taxco, this is where he discovered silversmithing, craft that has been passed from generation to generation for more than 200 years. It was in this beautiful place that he met his future wife, Gloria, who was born in Mexico City. She came from an artistic background, studying arts and living in Prague for 5 years.
