2003 Works from Studio 101 and a collaboration with Carol Mickett, University of Georgia, Athens, GA. (MS)... Carol Mickett and Robert Stackhouse use art as a conduit for personal and social change. With paintings, drawings, sculpture and video, the artists, explore the role of creeping saltwater intrusion, the warming of our waters, and the natural and human roles in mitigating the health of our waters, our lives, and ourselves. Their climate change inspired art tells a story by illustrating, real or metaphoric modalities of cooling our waters absorbing the heat producing CO2 from our atmosphere.
