Dr. Jason Alan Prescott

Dr. Jason Alan Prescott was born and raised in Southeast Texas. After graduating from Bridge City High School, he pursued his bachelor of science degree from Lamar University in Beaumont. He continued to further his education earning a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. Dr. Prescott is a therapeutically licensed eye doctor by the Texas Optometry Board to diagnose and treat eye disease and is a member of the Texas Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. Dr. Prescott attributes his upbringing for the passion he has in helping others. He feels that patient understanding and education can go a long way toward preventing and managing most eye conditions. It is this common principle that has always encouraged him to ask questions, explain the diagnosis, and educate the patient on treatment options. ‘Jason', as he introduces himself to patients, is married to Andrea Prescott, is the proud father of 3 children with one on the way. When he is not spending time with his family or at the office he enjoys a friendly game of poker, water sports of all kinds, fishing, and the Houston Rockets!

Dr. Lauren Eaton

Dr. Lauren Eaton is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist with a special interest in managing eye diseases. Dr. Eaton performs routine eye exams and manages eye diseases including dry eyes, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. She regularly performs contact lens fittings including astigmatism (torics), disposable soft contact lenses, multifocals, monovision contacts, and specialty lenses such as scleral contact lenses. Her passion is helping to prevent myopia/near-sightedness progression in children through myopia-control treatment modalities. As myopia progression is on the rise, Dr. Eaton feels strongly that no child has to suffer uncorrectable vision loss later in life due to the effects of myopia. Dr. Lauren Eaton is a native of North Louisiana. She completed her undergraduate education at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. During optometry school, she completed an externship at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans, LA, where she concentrated on glaucoma management. Dr. Eaton completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Eye Care at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR where she was honored to care for our nation's veterans. Her extensive residency training allowed Dr. Eaton to gain experience in managing a variety of complex eye diseases including pre/post-operative ocular surgery care. She is trained in performing minor ocular surgical procedures, and she is certified in the use of anterior segment lasers in the states where scope of practice allows. On the weekends, you can find Dr. Eaton oil painting in her studio and enjoying Austin's live music scene along with her husband. She is an animal lover and has a pet cat, "Mr. Winters" and a beagle, "Sam".
