KALAMASSERY DEVELOPMENT PLOT INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION

The Kalamassery Development Industrial Estate was set up in 1960 by the initivate of Government of Kerala. The foundation stone for the first three units was laid by the Ernakulam District Collector, Mr. Krishna Kumar, IAS. This was the first industrial Estate setup by the Government of Kerala in this state as part of promoting small scale industries. The estate is functioning under the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Government of Kerala... The District head office of the Directorate of Industries is located at Gandhi Nagar, Kadvanthra, Ernakulam.
