Mr. Cyganowski has counseled the nation's largest and most sophisticated integrated healthcare delivery systems with advisory support in areas such as business strategy, growth strategy, M&A, business building, and large organizational transformation. He also advises innovative companies and private equity firms seeking to enter or expand in the healthcare sector, as the industry shifts to decentralized, virtual, digital, retail, and home-based care services. Mr. McDermott's capital markets transactional work includes a wide range of public and private financings, with issuers ranging from single-site hospitals to national health systems. He is experienced in a variety of financing structures, including fixed and variable rates, demand bonds, private placements, advanced refunding's, letters of credit, and standby bond purchase agreements. His capital markets strategy work includes helping healthcare executives develop policies and procedures to support portfolio-driven decision making, utilizing various corporate risk management strategies. Mr. McDermott also is responsible for assisting healthcare leaders in the development of strategic and financial plans. This work includes advising on business case planning for specific capital investments, partnership facilitation, multiyear financial plans, and capital allocation processes. He works with hospitals and health systems nationwide to define and implement strategies to reduce non-labor costs and improve supply chain operations, while maintaining quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Mr. Lambert has more than 38 years of experience in healthcare, working on both the provider and consulting sides of the industry. Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, he served as a Director at Huron Consulting Group, where he led integrated performance improvement engagements, and as an Associate Director at Navigant, focusing on non-labor cost reductions and supply chain operations improvements. In those roles, Mr. Lambert drove results for performance improvement engagements with large, multi-hospital health systems, academic medical centers, and community hospitals across the country. Mr. Lambert previously was a Corporate Director of Supply Chain at Vanguard Health Systems and Baylor Health Care System, where his responsibilities included system supply chain operations.
