I have worked in retained executive search since 2007, first as a Consultant and then a Partner with the acclaimed search firm Parker Remick. My assignments have spanned North America, Europe, and Asia, for some of the world's leading tech companies and VCs, such as Google, Sony, Eventbrite, Auctionata, Zalando, Sequoia Capital, Google Ventures, KPCB, and Earlybird Venture Capital. I was previously a San Francisco-based consultant, entrepreneur, and founding COO of a No. 1 BizRate-ranked ecommerce site. As of October 2015, I am preparing to launch my own retained search boutique, serving clients in Silicon Valley, Europe, and worldwide... Along the way I've written some 200 articles for periodicals such as Wired, Outside, National Geographic Adventure, and other outlets. I've also edited national magazines and written books.
