Aaron Abendroth, CPA received a Bachelor's in Accounting and a Master's of Business Administration from the Brigham Young University. Aaron has over 25 years of tax and valuation experience within public accounting and private industry.
Aaron joined Haynie & Company in 2011 and is a senior valuation and tax manager in the Salt Lake City tax department. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA). Aaron began his career in auditing and transitioned to valuation and tax during the last 15 years. Aaron is specialized in the valuation of companies and organizations for tax, financial, and due diligence purposes. Aaron's background in accounting and tax assists in valuation analysis, quality of earnings reports, and due diligence on the purchasing and selling of companies. He is well qualified in corporate income taxation, partnership taxation, individual taxation, and related planning and business organization.
Aaron's experience includes consulting with business owners to assist with entity set-up and structure planning, employee and manager issues, partner disputes, partner buyouts, cash flow planning, financial statement understanding, budgeting, and growth planning.

Aaron M. Wilson, CPA, is an Audit Partner at Haynie & Company. He joins us as a Shareholder after serving as an Audit Director at Causey Demgen & Moore P.C. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant with nearly twenty years of experience in auditing and accounting, Aaron brings a wealth of expertise to the Haynie team.
Aaron is passionate about archery and hunting. He spends most of September listening for bull elk bugles in the woods. He enjoys hiking, camping, and the great outdoors. Aaron finds great satisfaction in volunteering as the Treasurer for the Colorado Traditional Archers Society, where he combines his love for the outdoors with his commitment to community service.

Abbey Irvine, CPA, is an Audit Manager at Haynie & Company. She attended Colorado State University and is a member of the AICPA, COCPA, and Citizens Bond Oversight Committee for the Thompson School District.
Abbey began her career in banking and held numerous positions at a local northern Colorado community Bank. Abbey started with Haynie & Company in our Loveland Office in September 2013, specializing in governmental entities, non-profit entities, and privately held small businesses.
Abbey is married to her husband, Jeff, and they have two wonderful children, Logan and Avery. Abbey enjoys spending time with her family, encouraging her kids in their various interests (cheer, basketball, and soccer), hiking nearby Rocky Mountain National Park, and passionately cheering on all the Colorado sports teams, especially the Broncos.

Adam Hastings, CPA, is an Audit Manager at Haynie & Company. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Weber State University. He is a member of the AICPA and UACPA and specializes in SEC audits.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys playing basketball and is a dedicated NBA fan, especially of the Utah Jazz.

Adam Wilkes, CPA, is an Audit Partner at Haynie & Company. He attended Fort Lewis College. Adam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA).
Before joining Haynie & Company in 2014, Adam was an auditor with several large Public Accounting Firms. Adam's areas of expertise include auditing private companies, publicly traded companies, financial services & investment companies, employee benefit plan audits, and peer reviews.
In addition to serving his clients, Adam strives to be a servant leader at Haynie & Company. He is instrumental in developing the Haynie team and business.
Adam enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with family, going on adventures, and trying new things.

Alexander Zacher, CPA, is a Tax Manager at Haynie & Company. Alex graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters in Accounting from Idaho State University. Alex is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants (ISCPA)
His expertise includes taxation of partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, nonprofits, individuals, and related tax planning and business organizations. Alex serves clients all over the United States in various industries, some of which are construction, medical, real estate, manufacturing, and insurance/door-to-door sales.
Outside of helping clients with their tax and accounting needs, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. He also enjoys all things outdoors, sports, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Allen Woiwode, CPA, is a Tax Manager at Haynie & Company. Allen is a proud alumnus of Weber State University, where he holds both a bachelor's and master's degree. Specializing in aiding real estate agents, property managers, and small business owners with tax returns and planning, Allen brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
Outside the office, he is an indoor enthusiast who values quality time with his wife, Angela, and finds joy in the company of close friends and family.

Amanda Halliday, FCA, EA, is a Tax Manager at Haynie & Company. She earned her Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University College, University of Oxford. Amanda began her career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in London, followed by a role as an International Tax Adviser at Shell International Petroleum Company. She is a Fellow with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW),
Amanda's likes to work with S Corporation owners and payroll planning. She has experience with international tax issues.
Amanda was born and raised in England and is passionate about nutrition and staying active through HIIT workouts, yoga, Pilates, hiking, and skiing. Amanda also enjoys spending time with her grown daughter and family in the UK.

Amanda Rodriguez is an Office Administrator Manager at Haynie & Company. Amanda began her career in accounting in 2008 as a bookkeeper and has since developed relationships with our clients as a trusted advisor. Amanda and her husband, Miguel, have a son Austin. When they are not at football games or family outings, they enjoy sharing their family Beef Jerky business and have a love for classic cars.

Andrew J. Moore, CPA has almost 30 years of experience in public accounting, internal auditing, corporate finance and governmental audit engagements. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. During his time at Regional and National accounting firms, Andrew had the opportunity to supervise several large governmental audit engagements including one of the 10 largest US cities along with major housing authorities and several large local school districts.
Andrew is responsible for leading the day-to-day audit fieldwork for a number of charter school audits and other not-for-profit organizations, as well as providing extensive financial consulting services to those organizations. In addition, because of his background in both commercial and governmental accounting, Andrew has extensive experience testing and evaluating internal control environments for compliance with OMB A-133 requirements and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Outside of the office, Andrew serves as Treasurer of Youth 180 in Dallas that provides substance abuse prevention, intervention and treatment programs to at risk youth. Andrew is married to his wife Elisa and they have 5 children. As a native New Zealander, he enjoys the outdoors, hiking and food gardening. However, an extensive part of his free time is spent restoring and driving classic cars with his family.

Annie Manwaring, CPA, is a Tax Manager at Haynie & Company. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University. Her Masters of Taxation degree is from Weber State University. Annie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Utah Association of CPAs (UACPA).
Annie has over 10 years of experience helping businesses of every size with tax compliance and accounting. She works with high net worth individuals and private equity investors preparing tax returns and building tax planning strategies to maximize tax savings.
Before joining Haynie in 2020, Annie worked at EY in their People Advisory Services practice doing tax compliance work for individuals working internationally and inpatriates working in the US.
She enjoys spending time hiking, camping, and fishing with her husband and two children. Annie practices hot yoga several times a week and loves the balance it brings to her life.

A graduate of Texas A&M University and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Ashley is an active member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). With over five years of dedicated experience in business valuation, Ashley previously spent over seven years helping business owners scale operations and improve performance. This experience provides her with valuable insight into both the financial and strategic aspects of a business. Ashley has a strong track record of working with businesses across various industries, delivering credible and defensible valuations to help clients make informed decisions. She also collaborates with legal professionals, investors, brokers, and spouses, ensuring that clients fully understand the complexities of valuation while providing clear, actionable insights.

Ben Brown, CPA is an Audit Partner at Haynie & Company. He attended Southern Utah University and is a member of the AICPA, UACPA.
Before joining Haynie in 2019, Ben held positions as a Big 4 audit manager and CFO of a small public company. Ben specializes in auditing publicly traded companies.
Ben's interests include travel, scuba diving and all kinds of water activities. He enjoys being outdoors hiking and exploring new and exciting parts of the world.

Bernard Abercrombie was the founder and managing partner of Abercrombie & Associates. Abercrombie & Associates merged with Haynie & Company in 2018. For over 30 years he has been providing tax and advisory services to clients throughout the country. After graduating from Louisiana State University, Bernard began his career with a Big 8 firm, starting directly in the tax department. Bernard has focused his career in the tax and consulting arena providing advice to small business owners and wealthy individuals. His extensive experience, combined with attention to each client's particular situation, help ensure a plan that maximizes every client's business and personal interests.
In addition to being a CPA, Bernard is a Certified Financial Planner and a Licensed Real Estate Broker.
Bernard and Lynne have five children, two grand-children and live in The Woodlands, Texas.

Cassie Gonzalez, CPA, is a Tax Manager at Haynie & Company. She is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA). Cassie joined our Dallas office in 2018 and became part of Haynie in January 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. Cassie specializes in estate, gift, and trust taxation.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, quilting, and attending FC Dallas games. Cassie and her husband, Robert, look forward to welcoming their first child this fall.

Beth Packer, CPA, CGAP, CFE, is an Audit Manager at Haynie & Company. She attended The University of Texas at San Antonio and is a member of the AICPA and TXCPA.
Joe Torres, CPA started his business in 1995, just himself and a folding table. He's grown to a staff of 15 and two office locations. Most of the team is bilingual, speaking Spanish or Mandarin. They focus heavily on serving Small Businesses with wide variety of Tax, Audit and Accounting services. The Joe L Torres, PC team is excited to join a large, regional firm where trust and family are core values.
Joe's goal was to create a culture he was proud of, a culture of family. This is one of the many reasons joining Haynie was appealing. Like Haynie & Company, they consider staff to be extended family. Public Accounting can be a career with a lot of turnover and burnout. But, most of Joe's staff have been there 5-13 years. Joe and his step-daughter lead the team. Many others on staff also have family and friendship connections. It's a great place to work.
