Hautapu Pine is a family owned company established by Trevor Benson, who has a 50 year history in the wood industry. Trevor is now semi-retired and his daughter and two of his sons manage the company... Hautapu Pine is a large specialist producer of fence posts, poles and house piles located north of Taihape in the lower North Island region. In addition to its production site in Taihape, the company has a distribution yard in Orini, north-east of Hamilton.
